On May 9, at 8:00 AM, together with Mayor Jyoti Gondek, the Calgary Interfaith Council will be hosting the second annual Interfaith Breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 2120 16 Ave NE. It will be an opportunity for Calgarians of many different faith groups to join together, meet one another and celebrate the rich religious diversity of our community. At the inaugural breakfast last year, we welcomed more than 150 participants and this year we look forward to welcoming many more.

At this year’s breakfast, our keynote speaker will be the Honourable Salma Lakhani, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, The Canadian Faith Mosaic.

As part of our efforts to hold down ticket costs, there is the opportunity to purchase advertising in our printed event programs or make a tax-deductible donation. 

Advertising  

We hope you will be interested in taking out an ad: $500 for a quarter-page, $1,000 for a half-page. You can also receive recognition on our website,  in our social media and general promotions. Of course, if you would like to participate with a larger dollar amount, we will be happy to accommodate you. You can pay via an e-transfer to info@calgaryinterfaith council.org (please indicate in the message the size of the ad).

  • Landscape size for half- page, portrait size for quarter-page
  • The deadline for submissions is April 5, 2024

You can donate to the breakfast via the Calgary Interfaith Council website donation page. Donors will receive a tax receipt.
